This is my favorite time of year.
I love Thanksgiving and Christmas and Winter.

Yet, I'm somewhat lacking in holiday spirit right now. I'm tired, I'm burnt out, I'm melancholic. I just got out of a rough week where everything I did and said seemed entirely inappropriate and wrong.

I'm really hoping this little vacation I'm taking in Virginia snaps me out of it. Because I'm sensing the tunnel ahead and I really don't want to have to find my way out of it again.
